La MerI always thought the idea of walking into the sea… Walking until the waves exceeded my head, engulfed me whole, was entirely, morbidly, romantic.La Mer
The waves enveloping this wretched body; the endless cool washing away eternal sins.
Cleansed momentarily as my lungs fill with salt water and the infinite life of the planet takes mine away; takes me in it’s arms and crushes me until I sleep.
It’s a completely rose-tinted idealistic vision of what would be, that chain of events that would surely in actuality be a most violent desperate end…
But I want it all the same. &n

“Yeah…” Alex laughs. “…Like you maybe,” memories and melancholy mixed and evident on an only half flippant remark.
Silently irritated Judd looks sideways from his evermore undrinkable beverage and reminds himself not to display any of the distaste slowly growing within him.
Judd wondered angrily why he’d always have to bring up this stuff, those bitter memories from the past, as if they actually meant anything now.
